Macroalgae from the Portuguese Coast: An economic and nutritional approach

On October 24, 2019, the workshop “Macroalgae from the Portuguese Coast: An Economic and Nutritional Approach” was held at “Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto” (ISEP). During the workshop various aspects related to the use of macroalgae in food and food industry were discussed. Professor João Paulo Noronha, PI of the Alga4Food Project, presented the communication "Macroalgae - a relevant food source. Strategies for its introduction into the Portuguese diet", about the main objectives and developments made in the scope of the project.
